Scientific Posters

Below is a selection of scientific posters I’ve designed for conference presentations. The posters aim for scientific accuracy and lay-out clarity. The layout and visuals are carefully crafted to guide the viewer through the content and to highlight the selected key messages.

Poster #1: General specifications of AsteriascRNA-seq kit

Scipio bioscience released the Asteria kit in 2021, to prepare cDNA for single cells studies. This poster introduces the kit’s main specifications and advantages compared to classical microfluidic methods.

Poster 2: Molecular mechanisms of Msl2 expression regulation

This work was performed in Fatima Gebauer ‘s lab at the CRG (Center for Genomic Regulation). In Drosophila, Msl2 is essential to promote hyper-transcription of the male X chromosome. Interestingly, Msl2 expression in female flies is lethal. To prevent Msl2 expression in female flies, the female-specific protein Sex-lethal (SXL) is produced to silence Msl2 expression by preventing the translation of msl2 mRNA. The goal of this work was to better understand the mechanism of action of msl2 mRNA inhibition by SXL protein. We did so by combining a protein pull-down followed by an RNA Chromatography Affinity, which allowed to identify Held-Out-Wings (HOW) as a Msl2 inhibitor.
